Radical Entertainment president resigns
Successor Kelly Zmak to lead award-winning firm

(VANCOUVER) June 21, 2006 – Ian Wilkinson today announced he is resigning his post as President of Radical Entertainment.

Kelly Zmak, Radical’s Chief Operating Officer, will assume Wilkinson’s duties and title. In July 2005, Wilkinson hired Zmak to fill the new posts of COO and Senior Vice President, Product Development. Zmak has excelled in overseeing the overall day-to-day management of the company and is now more than ready to assume the role of president, says Wilkinson.

“Kelly, along with our senior executive team, will continue Radical’s commitment to creating quality games, pushing the envelope in terms of advancing game-play mechanics and graphic capabilities, and maintaining our award-winning work culture,” says Wilkinson.

Radical is consistently ranked by BC Business magazine and Watson Wyatt as one of the best places to work in the province. In 2006, MediaCorp Canada ranked Radical as Top 100 Canadian Employer, Top 10 Canadian Employer for Young People and Top 20 B.C. Employer.

Radical Entertainment was formally purchased by Vivendi Games in March 2005 after a long and successful development partnership. Zmak was a key part of that relationship, says Wilkinson. From 2002 to 2004, Zmak was Vice President, Product Games, for Vivendi Games Northwest, based in Bellevue, WA. While at Vivendi Games, Zmak partnered with Radical Entertainment on several development projects.

Wilkinson founded Radical Entertainment in 1991. Under Wilkinson’s leadership, the Vancouver-based company has become regarded as one of the world’s leading video-game developers. The timing is right for succession, says Wilkinson, who is looking forward to spending more quality time with his family.

“Our integration with publisher Vivendi Games has secured Radical’s future for the long-term,” says Wilkinson. “I’m now in a very fortunate position to be able to step away and enjoy life a little bit more with the confidence of knowing the company is in great hands.”
